ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday, chaired high-level meeting in which regional situation was reviewed and PM reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to cooperate with India on Pathakot incident, Radio Pakistan reported.
Premier re-affirmed Pakistan’s strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Meeting review the progress made on the information provided by the Government of India. It was decided to remain in touch with the Government of India regrading Pathankot incident.
The meeting expressed the confidence on the goodwill generated by the recent high level contacts, the two countries would remain committed to a sustained, meaningful and comprehensive dialogue process.
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar, Adviser to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, National Security Advisor Nasir Janjua, DG ISI Rizwan Akhtar, Foreign Secretary and DG Military Operations were present in the meeting.
