Pakistan lodges protest over violation of airspace with Indian High Commissioner


ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, Pakistan Foreign Office summoned the Indian High Commissioner, Dr. T. C. A. Raghavan, in Islamabad and registered a strong protest with him over violation of Pakistani airspace by an Indian drone.


Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry (Foreign Secretary), has said that India should respect and stand by all mutual agreements. He also added that India should ensure no such violations are repeated again.

Earlier, Pakistan military shot down an Indian spy drone along the Line of Control (LoC), according to Inter Services Public Relations.


The ISPR reported that the spy drone which is used for photography, was downed in Bhimber area near LoC after it entered in Pakistani territory.

A protest was also registered for the overnight meaningless ceasefire violation by Indian BSF at LoC and Working Boundary which resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians including an 18 year old girl.

The Indian High Commissioner has assured to convey the message to his authorities.

This violation By IndIan BSF at LoC is not the first violation in the history, it is repeated again and again but there is no one to think about and stop this violation, which is totally illegal and unjustified at any level and at any stage.
