PESHAWAR: as claimed by Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA), the figures of those displaced due to Zarb-i-Azb operation has reached to almost 0.8 million (800,000)
The FDMA said that 787,888 IDPs have been registered so far which include 62,493 families, including 2,11,549 male and 236,883 female members, while the number of children are 339,456.
Moreover, the process to registering the IDPs in KPK’s Peshawar which was suspended yesterday due to mismanagement at the registration point in Hayatabad, relaunched today. However, the registration of those who journeyed to southern districts was also underway in Bannu where three registration centers had been established.
As stated by FDMA spokesman, the government was determined to register every single displaced person to ensure the distribution of relief amount, goods and other services so that no family was deprived of the facilities.
