LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari blasted the current government during a addressing at Farmers Convention in Lahore on Saturday.
“Lahore has been handed over to sympathisers of terrorists by the incumbent government. At a time when our armed forces are driving terrorists out of the country, the current government is destroying the economy,” said Bilawal during speech.

About his party’s progressive position on the economy, the Bhutto successor said the country’s prosperity is only feasible through bringing in of fair and unbiased strategies, instead of ‘Metro Bus’ projects.
Slamming the Nawaz-led government, the farmer president’s son said that government’s departments were working without any head or visionary leadership, raising a reasonable question over the government’s assertion of ‘good governance’.
Referring about country’s national airline, Bilawal said: “The current government has destroyed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and they are unable to give salaries to Steel Mills’ labourers”.
Viewing the army’s grand operation against terrorists, the young leader of his party said that Zarb-e-Azb was not launched the previous year but instead it had begun seven years ago when operations were launched in Swat and North Waziristan.
Most of the part of his speech was attacking the current government and he also mentioned one of the major issues of the country, load shedding, and reminded the promises were made by current PM in this regard.
