No raise of fees this year in private schools: PM Nawaz


The PM Directed Ministry of Education, Capital Administration and Development Division to implement this directive in letter and spirit. The premier also asked Ministry of Education and CADD to carry out consultative meetings with all stakeholders to work out an unanimously welcomed strategy of fee raise in private schools.


He further said that the concerned authorities should come up with proposed legislation to order the private schools to keep a check on fleecing.


Earlier, a sort of uproar was witnessed couple of days ago in major cities of the country against massive increase in private school fee. Parents of the school-going children had protested and demanded the government to take serious action against private school mafia, which increases school fee as per their wishes and there is no check and balance on them whatsoever.

The development comes as a result of that demonstration that also was trending at top on twitter and many critics had slammed the private school mafia.
