Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that government is unswerving to Karachi operation in order to stabilize peace and security across the city.
While addressing a high-level meeting in the big city to review law and order situation, the PM said there was consensus that a decisive operation was required and it has gained the great success during the last 27 months.
The premier expressed that the operation should have been begun six-seven years earlier as business community of the world was reluctant to visiting Karachi fearing the uncertain situation of the city. He said now the operation has revived confidence of businessmen from abroad and that the federal government has been extending essential cooperation to Sindh government, rangers and intelligence agencies to address the security situation in the metropolis.
He also commended the performance of Rangers, intelligence and other agencies in bringing about peace in the city. On this occasion, the PM said that there will be no compromise on the law and order situation of Karachi.
Meanwhile, the meeting was also attended by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, and Khawaja Asif.
