Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate Ziarat Residency on Independence Day, restored to its original shape.
Government of Pakistan has restored Ziarat Residency to its original outline in accordance to comply the directives of Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister Balochistan. The restoration done at the cost of 15 million rupees.
Sources said Ziarat residency will be restored as the national heritage. Inauguration ceremony will be attended by all the national and provincial leadership.
Last year, some rebels group fired rockets on Quaid-e-Azam residency which is located in Ziarat which resulted as of the residency and belongings placed therein were burnt to ashes. The attackers also gunned down the security guards of the residency.
