National unity is inevitable for Zarb-i-Azb, Nawaz Sharif


ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was held to discuss Zarb-i-Azab and the Lahore Model Town incident.


While addressing the cabinet, PM said that the ongoing operation requires national unity.

“A peaceful environment in the country would benefit the soldiers fighting in the North Waziristan tribal area.”

He assured that militants would be defeated and the internally displaced civilians from North Waziristan would be accommodated with every possible favor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister Railway Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Mininster SAFRON LT. Gen (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch.

Meanwhile, the Model Town Lahore episode was also discussed and the CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif ordered not to compromise on justice. Further he said that the responsible of the incident would be brought to justice after the investigation.
