On this occasion, guard of honour is given to him at his shrine in Karachi and top personalities of the city and country visit his shrine to pay tribute, commemorate his devotion for the nation, and place floral wreath on his tomb.
Born on December 25, 1876 in the same city where he is lying, Muhammad Ali joined All-India Muslim League in 1913 to work for the Muslims of sub-continent. One of his hall-mark works was the famous ‘Fourteen Points’, which he propounded in a sort of response to Nehro Report in 1928.
As a major spirit behind the Muslims of sub-continent, Ali Jinnah had led them to unite them as a nation and devote to gain a separate homeland where they could practice Islam freely and without any fear of persecution.
It was his devotion, dedication, hard-work, perseverance, and determination that earned the Muslims of the sub-continent a separate state called Pakistan. Due to his wisdom, insight, astuteness, faith, and his presenting himself as a role model for the nation, he was given the epithet as ‘Quaid-e-Azam’ (the greatest leader) by the Muslim.
