Mullah Fazlullah escapes drone strike near Pak-Afghan border


PESHAWAR: Tehreek-e-Taliban Paksitan cheif Mullah Fazlullah barely escapes the US drone strike near Pak -Afghan border (Durand Line).

A senior official from federally administered tribal areas (FATA), while talking to local media, said it was confirmed that TTP head Fazlullah was present in the Nizyan area of the Ningharhar province of Afghanistan.



Offical said Fazlullah escaped the drone strike. However, five others were killed in the strike.

TTP current Mullah Fazlullah aka “Mullah Radio”, who has served as the leader of the Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi, an organisation aiming to enforce Sharia in Pakistan, and was the leader of the Pakistan Taliban Swat chapter. On 7 November 2013 he became the emir of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
