ISLAMABAD: Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will arrive in Islamabad on tomorrow (Tuesday) to attend the Heat of Asia Conference.
Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said today, Indian FM Sushma Swaraj is arriving in Islamabad on Tuesday to attend the Heat of Asia Conference. She will also meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Sartaj Aziz added.
Talking on the Pakistan India relations, Sartaiz said, “ Deadlock in Pakistan India relations have eased to some extent”.
Pakistan Cricket Broad ( PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan saidthat fate of Pakistan India cricket series will also be discussed with Sushma Swaraj.
Heart of Asia Conference:
Islamabad on Dec 9 will host ministerial meeting, India had officially accepted Pakistan’s invitation for the conference.
The Heat of Asia series of conferences began in four years back. The participating countries include Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China , India , Iran , Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan.
According to official website of Heart of Asia, The Istanbul process provides a new agenda for regional cooperation in the ‘Heart of Asia’ by placing Afghanistan at its center and engaging the ‘Heat of Asia’ countires in sincere and result oriented cooperation for a peaceful and stable Afghanistan, as well as a secure and prosperous region as a whole.
