ISLAMABAD: Jahangir Tareen, Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that party chairman Imran Khan would give his point of view on judicial commission’s report on Saturday.
Tareen spoke to media persons in Islamabad, ‘He is reviewing the inquiry commission report and will present his party posture on Saturday.’
Imran Khan on Thursday has swallowed the bitter pill of the report prepared by judicial commission that investigated alleged vote fraud in May 11, 2013 general elections.
Following arrival of a favorable inquiry report, relaxed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has addressed the nation on television and urged Khan to turn away from the politics of blame game and focus on progress and development of the country.
The prime minister said in a address to the nation, ‘By the grace of Allah Almighty, we have survived the ordeal. Now blame games should die their own deaths as one of the most trustworthy commissions has cleared the government of any kind of organized election rigging by declaring the polls as just and legal,’ He was of the view that inquiry commission’s fair report, which failed to find any evidence of a conspiracy to manipulate the vote results, has assisted Pakistan into a new age.
Nawaz Sharif said, ‘Today’s Pakistan is better than yesterday’s. And after three years it will be even stronger and stabled.’
