I invite to do operation in KP against corruption, people: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday that failure in shutting down has proved that situation in Karachi is improving after Rangers’ operation.

The PTI chairman was addressing media during a press conference where he said that Rangers should also start crackdown against corrupt people in Punjab. He said that people in Sindh are happy now as corrupted being nabbed.

He claimed that whole the nation is fed up of looters and corrupt people.

During the press conference, Imran also announced that he is going to expel Ziaullah Afridi who was found guilty in corruption.


Talking about the failure of Nandipur power project, Imran upheld that no one is responsible of its failure other than Shahbaz Sharif himself.

Imran claimed that he never favoured any relative in the party instead all the decisions are made on merit and that strict actions against those will be taken who allotted tickets to their relatives. There will be no compromise on discipline. He emphatically said that he always assured merit whenever it comes to team selection, whether in politics or in cricket.

The chairman of PTI has also announced that his party would stage a huge jalsa on October 4 to announce the next strategy.

At the end of the conference, Imran Khan once again bid his gratitude to the Rangers at having accomplished the operation against criminal elements in Karachi.
