To commemorate the day and to pay tribute to the martyrs of APS attack, all the provincial governments, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have announced holiday on 16 December (tomorrow), which will be marking the 1st anniversary of the tragic APS Attack.
Here it should also be mentioned that KP government was the first to make the decision of holiday over the anniversary of the APS attack. And then was later directed by the other provincial governments to observe the holiday in all the educational institutes.
It is also told that under the announcement of the provincial governments, all the government and private educational institutes will remain close on 16th December (tomorrow).
The regrettable Army Public School Peshawar Attack took place on December 16, 2014, in which over 140 young children of age between 6-18 were killed as the terrorist band storm the institute and violently opened fire on all of the staff and students present in the school.
This heinous attack was even condemned by International media and saddened the atmosphere of the country as this worst terrorist attack and the day 16 December 2014 was pronounced as Black Day of Pakistan’s history.
