COAS Raheel Sharif visits CMH Sialkot to inquire injured civilians

LAHORE: COAS Raheel Sharif on Friday, visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH)  Sialkot to inquire injured civilians.

Series of tweet by DG ISPR Asim Bajwa said,

After the reports of Inida-Pakistan fire exchange on working border of Sialkot sector, Raheel Sharif visited Rangers Headquarter. He was briefed about latest situation, COAS appreciated the high morale of deployed troops and  civilians. Directed Rangers for befitting response.

India has blatantly violated cease fire along working boundary and Line of control. Crossed all limits to terrorise Pakistan civilian population, disregarding International conventions and norms.

We can sense definite linkage between terrorism being sponsored by India in various parts of Pakistan and belligerence along Line of control and Working boundary, ISPR said.

Indian firing and violation targeting civilian is highly unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible and cowardly, COAS added.

Due to today’s cross border firing Asim Bajwa said,  8 causalities including one woman, and one child. 47 got injured  including 24 women and 11 children.

 

 

Ealirer today, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, at least eight people were killed while 46 sustained serious injuriesafter India’s Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in Charwa Sector alongside Working Boundary in Sialkot.

Indian Border Security Force resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in couple of areas where they encountered befitting response from Pakistan’s Chenab Rangers.
