ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Saturday discussed with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani of Research and Analysis Wing’s (RAW) involvement in Pakistan’s internal matters.
Hassan Rouhani, who is on his two-day visit to Pakistan, met Army chief Raheel Sharif to discuss matters of regional security, border security and connectivity between Pakistan and Iran, DG ISPR, Asim Bajwa said.

Before the arrival of Iranian president to Pakistan, on Thrusday, home minister Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti revealed that RAW agent has been detained by Law and Enforcement agencies (LEAs), who has involved in anti-state activities. India officially has admitted that the person was former Navy officer but denied any allegations leveled by Pakistan against RAW.
During his two-day visit, Iranian president will be meeting important officials of Pakistan and it is expected that both countries will also ink agreements.
