23O8 Pakistani serving jail time in Saudi Arabia, says FO


ISLAMABAD: On Thrusday, Foregin Office spokesperson Syed Qazi Khalilullah said that 2,308 Pakistanis are serving jail time in Saudi Arabian jails, Radio Pakistan reported.


FO spokesperson also said that these people involced in Umra and Hajj visa violations.

At weekly news briefing, Qazi Khalilullah on Inida-Pakistan relations said, Pakistan wants result oriented dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir and promote bilateral relations.


On ‘Heart of Asia Conference’,  Spokesman said, ” Conference will begin in Islamabad from Tuesday and theme of the conference is ‘Istanbul Process enhanced cooperation in countering security threat and promoting connectivity in the heart of Asia.”

On the question presence of ISIS (Daesh) in Pakistan, Qazi Khalilullah said that Daesh is terrorist Organization and there is no footprints of ISIS in Pakistan. He also said, paksitan is committed to root out terrorism from the country and the Zarb-e- Azb is manifestation of Pakistan’s intent towards terrorism.

FO spokesperson in the briefing also  condemned terrorists incident in Tunisia on 24th November where fourteen people lost their lives.
