21 terrorists killed in Shawal, North Waziristan: ISPR


RAWALPINDI: Twenty one terrorist have been killed in a joint operation conducted by Army Aviation and Pakistan Air Force at Shawal in North Waziristan on Tuesday, ISPR said.


According to tweets by Army media-wing chief, Important heights and passes along with Pakistan-Afghanistan border area has been secured.

Sanitisation of Shawal Valley is in progress, Bajwa added.

On June 2014, Pakistan government has initiated Army operation Zarb-e-Azb  in aim to clear area of North Waziristan situated near Afghanistan border from terrorists group. After the operation till date, according to Army media-wing ISPR, operation has yielded positive results, many areas has been cleared and writ of state has been established, however time frame has not been revealed when operation will be completed.
