PESHAWAR: At least 15 people were killed and as many as 30 injured on Wednesday when bomb exploded on bus carrying government servants in Peshawar.
The bus was carrying government servants from Mardan to Peshwar, blast occurred near Gharbi Police Station in Peshawar.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantonment Kashif Zulfiqar talikng to private media he said,“The blast was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted inside the bus,”
“There were 40-50 people on the bus.” SP added.
The dead bodies and injured have been transferred to Lady Reading Hospital and Cantonment Hospital.
PTI KP chapter stalwart Mushtaq ghani while talking to media said that CM KP Pervaiz Khattak has imposed emergency in Peshawar’s three main hospital and directed medical staff to provide best medical treatment to the injures.
