Security forces gun down 10 militants who had attacked the Samungli and Khalid airbases in Quetta.
An injured militant was also taken into the custody and taken to an unknown place for further interrogation.
Muhammad Umlaish, the chief of Balochistan police told journalists that forces had concluded the operation in Quetta.
The police chief added that 11 security personnel got injured during the four hour long operation. The injured were admitted to the Civil Military Hospital in Quetta cantonment for the treatment.
He revealed that 11 rocket launchers were recovered from the Khalid airbase while a huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the Samungli airbase.
“All entry and exit points leading to the airport and airbases are being strictly guarded,” Umlaish said.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said that the Samungli and Khalid airbases in Quetta have been cleared.
While Imran Qureshi, the Superintendent of Police in his address to media told that the operation was completed on Friday early morning.
Security forces also arrested five suspects in another operation which could lead to track the real terrorist behind the attacks on airbases.
According to Balochistan home ministry, all the executed terrorists seem to be Uzbeks.
