The most awaited movie of Pakistani film industry particularly of Mahira Khan in 2016, Ho Mann Jahaan, has successfully crossed the whopping figure of Rs. 29 million in the first day of release (domestic figure). The premier film of 2016 has surpassed the opening day record of the last movie of 2015, Jawani Phir Nhi Ani.
Ho Mann Jahaan collected Rs. 2.9 crore through late Friday night in all cinemas across the Pakistan. It premiered to full occupancy across the country, collecting approximately Rs. 29 million on opening day, beating the Rs. 20.7 million record of Jawani Phir Nhi Ani. The worldwide figure is not confirmed yet. This collection is of domestic Lollywood box office.
Currently, the Jawani Phir Nhi Ani, Waar, and Bin Roye are leading over the Lollywood’s highest grossing movies. The competition of the movie is direct with Jawani Phir Nhi Ani. It will not difficult for Ho Mann Jahaan to surpass the Bin Roye and Waar. The movie is also witnessing almost full occupancy rate that is good for a music-based drama film.
But one thing about Ho Mann Jahaan is that it succeeded in attracting the audience. It was a first time in a Pakistani film industry for a music based movie to do so. Music gang of the movie, Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar and Adeel Hussain have interestingly and intelligently show off their talent. The overall script of the movie was perfect. It is kind of refreshing change in the Pakistani film industry.
Little editing issues were there but somehow the overall acting of Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar and Adeel Hussain has impressed the audience.
Bollywood directors Mahesh But and Pooja Bhatt also praised the movie. Pakistani took to the social media platforms to comment over the performance of actors in HMJ.
