These boots had been designed for “goofin’” — but not in NYPD uniform!
In a pretty TikTok video handed around on the Web, Bronx housing cop Christine Galgano wears the major half of her police uniform, which includes what seems to be a holstered provider revolver — along with incredibly hot pants and cowboy boots.
Galgano, 27, mirrors loony Lt. Dangel, in the Comedy Central mockumentary “Reno 9/11,” who emerges from a shoe store in his uniform major, limited shorts and a bag with new boots.
“Genuine ostrich. . . 3 payments. . . I’m just goofin’ …new boot goofin’, oh!” Dangel’s recorded voice drawls as Galgano mimics his hops and twists in a sunny yard.
The leggy blonde’s online antics evidently violate the NYPD’s social media plan, which prohibits officers from submitting “photographs of by themselves in uniform and/or displaying official identification without the need of authorization.”
The policy states that any action on particular social media accounts that can be connected to a NYPD member “is a reflection on the Department as a total.”
An NYPD spokeswoman, Sgt. Jessica McRorie, would not say irrespective of whether Galgano was disciplined.
“The off duty incident was investigated and tackled by the officer’s commanding officer,” McRorie claimed.
Galgano describes her struggle with COVID-19 in a videotaped converse posted March 25 on Twitter. One more posting claimed she was getting hydroxychloroquine, the controversial coronavirus remedy.
Galgano, who joined the NYPD in FY 2018, is a physical fitness maven and “lupus warrior” who has 11,200 followers on her Instagram web page, and played on the NYPD women’s soccer team. She could not be reached for comment.
