Nepali Congress moves motion in Parliament to convey back China encroached territory

Nepali Congress has moved a movement in the decrease home of Nepali Parliament, urging the KP Sharma Oli government to provide back again the 64 hectares land encroached territory by China. It was observed that China has progressively built inroads into quite a few Nepalese territories with an ulterior intention to seize complete handle.

In a letter tackled to the secretary, Dwelling of Associates, Nepali Congress stated numerous districts together with Dolakha, Humla, Sindhupalchowk, Gorkha and Rasuwa encroached by China. The opposition has urged the governing administration to get started a dialogue with Beijing to bring back again the shed land.

“As China has shifted pillar range 35 of Gorkha in direction of Nepal, Rui village lying in the northern aspect of Gorkha has been encroached by China and 72 homes have now been less than Tibet Autonomous Location of China. In the same way, 18 households found at Jiujiu of Darchula districts have been encroached by China,” the letter reads.

The opposition’s motion at the Parliament comes soon immediately after a report showed China occupied strategic lands at 11 spots across Nepal. Close to 36 hectares of land in four districts of Nepal, which border China, have been illegally occupied by China, but so far Nepalese governing administration is tightlipped about it. The occupation of Rui village has been carried out systematically by China in the past two many years.

It is noted that China has illegally occupied two hectares in the vicinity of Sinjen Khola (river) and 1 hectare of Bhurjuk Khola (River) in Rasuwa district. It has also captured land adjacent to Lamde Khola and 3 hectares around Jambu Khola in Rasuwa district. China has also illegally occupied seven hectares of land in Kharane Khola and 4 hectares close to Bhote Koshi of Sandhu Pal Chok district in Nepal, 3 hectares of Samjung Khola, two hectares in the vicinity of Kam Khola and four hectares of land from Arun river mattress in Sankhuwasabha district of Nepal.

This provocative move, sources stated, is currently being performed by Nepal at China’s behest which has crippled the entire world by spreading contagious coronavirus and is aggressively pursuing its expansionist policy. “Nepal’s domestic coverage appears to be dominated by China.
