Multiple sclerosis, its incidence in Sardinia is among the highest in the world

Sardinia is one of the regions in the world that has the highest incidence and prevalence of MSWhich affects young people, especially women.

They register on the island 370 new cases per 100,000 residents, which is double the rate compared to that recorded in Italy.
