McLaren: Daniel Ricciardo Edition 720S, 3 only in Australia – Tests and news

The unreleased McLaren Ricciardo Edition 720S, intended for the McLaren Formula 1 team driver who, along with Lando Norris, recently allowed to beat a historic double at the Italian Grand Prix, for the first time only in Australia and in just three samples.

Custom built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) in collaboration with McLaren dealerships in Melbourne and Sydney, it is based on the popular 720S supercar launched in 2017.
Equipped with a supercharged 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged electric V8 engine that – as in the F1 – delivers 720 hp (the figure that defines its name) and a maximum torque of 770 Nm.
The McLaren 720S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 341 km/h. In addition to the plaque in Papaya Spark and Burton Blue – the colors used on the Formula 1 2021 MCL35M single-seat – special series dedicated to Ricciardo stand out for Ricciardo’s signature embossed carbon fiber wings, plaques with the Uno dedication of the three, Ricciardo’s Race #3 on the doors and the Australian flag Decorate the front wings.
