“The return of Imran should not be joined with a minor unpleasant incident” – clarified Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: MQM representative Farooq Sattar has clarified the position of his party by saying that the return of Imran Khan from Yadgar-e-Shuhada without addressing the public gathering should not be coincide with an unpleasant incident that actually happened after the return of Khan. He was talking to newsmen here on Karachi.

Sattar said that we were waiting for Khan at Yadgar-e-Shuhada but don’t know why he turned back in the mid. He said that PTI showed an irresponsible attitude in its statements. “There were no batons, eggs or tomatoes in the hands of our workers and cctv footages are the clear proof of it, he added. He further added that it was solely Khan’s own decision to go back otherwise we were standing ready for his welcome with rose petals.

Sattar made it clear to PTI that some miscreants are trying to pollute the peaceful environment between PTI and MQM and we should not let them succeed in their heinous plans. “It would be pleasure for us if Khan had visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha as well for the martyrs”, he hoped.

He also vowed to keep the environment peaceful till April 23 for the conduction of elections in a fair and transparent way. “Voters will decide that with whom they are”, he asserted. Sattar added that police and administration have to play their role in this regard and today’s unpleasant incident is also one of the reasons of their mismanagement.

Talking about the success of PTI rally, he questioned the viewers that public can themselves decide how many people are with PTI by simply looking at the number of participants in the rally today.
