Supreme Court refuses early hearing on Musharraf’s name in ECl

A three judge bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jillani, refused government’s request for early hearing, called the government on June 23 for his plea challenging the Sindh High Court’s ruling which allowed Pervez Musharraf to go abroad. Chief Justice refused the government’s request for early date on its plea over SHC ruling to strike down Musharraf’s name from the Exit Control List. Moreover, he endorsed a five judge bench headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk which will hearing the government stance on June 23.
