Sharjeel Memon warns concerned authorities of K-Electric to manage their system


KARACHI: Information Minister Sindh, Sharjeel Memon has warned the concerned persons of K-Electric to manage their affairs otherwise they would be arrested.


While talking to media, Memon said that K-Electric is being run on commercial basis and its income is about Rs.16 billion. Even then due to its negligence and inefficiency, people are compelled to face severe problems.

He warned that K-Electric should immediately manage the system otherwise Sindh government is thinking to arrest those responsible for its bad performance.


He said that it seems we have to create an ideal environment for K-Electric as they put the blame of power breakdown to moisture in the air and drizzling. “Management should accept their failure now”, he added.

Information Minister said that we are bringing lot of development projects for the public and in the first phase, Malir Halt Bridge is being opened for the public whereas Mehran Underpass would be opened for the traffic within next 20 days.

He further told that the recent agreement between Sindh government and Dubai will bring a good news for the people according to which solar lights are being installed in the city along with the facility of free Wi-Fi to the public.
