In another bid to assure security of educational institutes in Karachi, Rangers have launched a mobile app. This latest initiative was unveiled today during a press conference held by Col Qaiser of Rangers and Sindh Information Adviser Maula Baksh Chandio.
While talking to the presser Col Qaiser told that more than 3000 schools are already registered under this new security initiative.
The app named ‘Rangers School College Protection’ is yet another initiative of rangers in less than a month that is according to the latest technology and is user efficient. Earlier they also set hotline on Whatsapp to get to know rapidly about the emergency situation.
Col Qaiser speaking about this security plan told,”We have divided the city in 60 parts for the implementation of this system. This app can also be helpful in tackling street crimes, thefts and other crimes.”
“Principals of the schools registered under this application will be able to generate a quick message in case of any threat,” he added.
The Rangers representative also told that those schools who haven’t yet registered with this app can contact the nearest Rangers check post for this.
Speaking over all this Sindh Information Adviser Maula Baksh Chandio said: “The step is being taken under the National Action Plan (NAP). We are proud of our national institutions like Rangers and we have always put our suggestions in front of them for the betterment of Karachi.”
