Operation Clean-up 1992: Rangers demands custody of 187 target killers from MQM

KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers has sent a letter to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar, to hand over the 187 suspected target killers of police officials during 92 Operation Clean-up.

Sindh Rangers has claimed in the letter that these 187 target killers wwere involved in the killing of police officials who took part in 92 Operation Clean-up. Rangers tabled the point of view on ground that, 187 individuals of militant wing of MQM were nominated in various FIRs of those killed police officials.

The letter sent on late Tuesday night by Rangers to Farooq Sattar and the same was brought in to the notice of Chief Minister Sindh Secretariat, Secretary Sindh Home Department, the Inspector General of Sindh Police and the Additional Inspector General of Sindh Police.

Rangers asked MQM to hand over the suspects in order to investigate the murder cases of the police officials and also asked to forward for necessary action.
