MQM leader Anees Ahmed become part of Mustafa Kamal party


KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) erstwhile leader Anees Ahmed Advocate has declared that he join the newly-formed political party of erstwhile Karachi mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal.


During his press conference on Monday, Anees advocate formally declared his support to the party of Kamal. He said that he was already prepared to leave MQM at least 3 years ago but Mustafa Kamal’s showed his bravery and his strength to left MQM.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain doesn’t deserve to be a leader of Muhajir community’ anymore he was never thought about his leader, he said.


Aness, who was worked with MQM for 32 years, was eliminated from the party’s decision-making body in 2012 over alleged misconduct.

Flanked by Mustafa Kamal, Aness Qaimkhani and others, he strongly criticized MQM Chief, saying “You are not in condition and have no right to lead the Mohajir.”

“We Welcome Anees Advocate Bhai in this ‘National covoy’,” Mustafa Kamal told during the press conference to the news men at his residence in KARACHI’s DHA neighborhood before given the microphone to advocate.
