Federal institutions surpassing their limits in Sindh, says Qaim Ali Shah


KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has told Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif during a high level meeting that federal institutions are intruding unnecessarily in Sindh.


Qaaim Ali Shah said that federal institutions are not only crossing their authorities but also it is against the constitution of Pakistan. He said this during the visit of PM to Karachi here on Thursday in Governor House.


“According to the constitution, NAB and FIA are not authorized to interfere in the provincial matters”, he added. He further added that all the institutions should work within their limits and mandate otherwise it creates serious problems and mistrust among the institutions.

CM said that Sindh is being attacked and about 70 percent of the bureaucracy has stopped working. The efficiency of government machinery has badly affected due to the activities of NAB and FIA.

It is to be remembered here that during a recent raid by FIA on the Land Department of KMC, more than 56,000 files have been confiscated by FIA.
