KARACHI: Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has called MQM Chief, Altaf Hussain and requested him to end the deadlock over the issue of resignations.
Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has requested Altaf Hussain to resolve the issue as soon as early as this matter would cause damage to the country’s politics. Fazal-ur-Reman also advised the government to stop commenting regarding the issue of MQM’s resignations.
Sources told that MQM Chief has ensured Mualana that he would reply him regarding the resignations issue till tomorrow after consultation with Rabita Committee.
Sources also told that dialogues between MQM and Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman over the issue of resignations are expected to commence from Monday.
Government had assigned the task to Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman to have negotiations with MQM and he had already paid a visit to Nine Zero few days ago. After that the issue of resignations was raised by MQM which created panic in the country’s politics. So, once again government has pushed forward Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman to end the deadlock.
