 Chief Minister Sindh orders to arrest corrupt govt officials


KARACHI: Sindh government has decided to give more authorities to anti-corruption department instead of NAB and FIA in the province.


Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered to arrest the corrupt government officials immediately. Special authorities have been granted to anti-corruption department Sindh in order to arrest higher government officials.

Earlier NAB and FIA were conducting raids at high level in order to control corruption in the province but now it has also been decided to activate the anti-corruption unit as well to take action against the corrupts.


CM Sindh has ordered to arrest all those government officers against whom the corruption cases are registered. Special desk has also been formed in CM House in order to monitor the performance of anti-corruption unit.

Anti-corruption unit has been directed to wind up the pending cases of corruption as soon as early.

During the last three years, more than 7000 complaints of corruption have been lodged against the officers of different government departments.
