Altaf Hussain seeks opinion of MQM workers over his future

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to the party’s workers to give their opinion whether he should resign from the leadership and leave politics after the historical remarks he had made over the Pak Army and other national institutions during his speech in MQM USA Convention.

According to Altaf Hussain, some high officials of government and army are forcing him to leave MQM and politics and they will then stop the operation against Mohajirs. They have decided not to air my speeches and statements on any channel, he added.

On August 01, 2015, addressing to the party workers on the MQM’s Annual Convention in USA, Altaf Hussain directed the party workers to reach NATO and United Nations and apprise them about the atrocities being committed on Mohajir community and request them to send their forces to enquire about the real facts regarding the massacre and killings in Karachi.

MQM is not responsible for making Pakistan part of the International Proxy Wars, but Pakistani generals and intelligence agencies.

He further said that whenever, party workers in Pakistan and all around the world would give green signal then the MQM would officially demand for the creation of a separate province for Mohajirs. He said that on the wishes of ‘Establishment’ about 150 fake cases were registered against him all over the country within no time. He said that one can easily understand by such activities that Altaf Hussain Fears the five Lakh Army or the five lakh army fear Altaf Hussain. He said that he had made mistake in the past by saluting the armed forces. MQM Chief directed party workers to write letters to US newspapers and make them aware of the actual situation in Pakistan.

On the harsh statements passed by Altaf Hussain, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi has declared MQM Chief Altaf Hussain as an absconder in an attempted murder case.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday termed the speech of Altaf Hussain to waging war against the country. He said during a press conference, “The hate-inciting speech, made in a foreign country last night, crossed all limits. Heads of key institutions were insulted.”
