SC halts SHC order to eliminate Ayyan Ali’s name from ECL

ISLAMABAD: The supreme court has halted Sindh High Court’s (SHC) order to eliminate ace Model Ayyan Ali’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) on Thursday.

The federal court led-by PML-N had filed appeal against the order of Sindh High Court directed to remove Super Model name for ECL list.

Federal government’s  Lawyer Farogh Nawaz Lodhi advocate  had pleaded against the SHC’s order of March 7, which  asked to remove Ayyan’s name instantly and submit report within 14 days.

Ayyan was arrested on 14th March 2015, on charges of money laundering, after customs officials recovered $506,000 from her luggage at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport before she could reportedly board a flight to Dubai.She was granted bail in July last year after spending around four months in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail ─ and after her judicial remand was extended at least 16 times.

Ayyan was arrested from  Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport on 14th March, on charges of money laundering, after around $506,000 from her language were found, she was arrived to take flight to Dubai. After spending almost four months in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail

Ayyan Ali case has hired former governor Punjab and PPP stalwart Latif Khosa, many people on media hurled accusation on Super Model that she has been taking dirty money out from the Pakistan of influential bigwigs.
