Qatar will cooperate to overcome energy crisis: CM Punjab


On Sunday, the chief minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha.


Lahore: Shahbaz Sharif says that Qatar will invest in various sectors of national development in Pakistan and will also cooperate to overcome energy crisis. He also told that meeting with Emir of Qatar was set to promote Pak-Qatar relations and to ensure cooperation in economic and trade sectors.


Sharif said that, trade and economic relations between two countries would further strengthen in future.

He said: ” Qatar is extending invaluable cooperation to Pakistan in overcoming energy crisis and expressed the hope that Pakistan will be able to get rid of load shedding with the cooperation of its friendly countries.”

He also appealed other foreign investors by saying, there are many opportunities of investment in Pakistan especially Punjab and the government is providing maximum facilities to foreign investors on priority basis.
