Punjab LG Election 2015 Results: PML N gets 882 UC chairman seats, independents secure 831

LAHORE: With the successful completion of the third phase of local government elections in Punjab and Sindh, the process of local government elections 2015 comes to end in the country. The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has secured 882 seats in the Punjab province, followed by independent candidates who secured 831 seats.

According to initial reports and unofficial results, the combined  union council chairman seats secured by PML (N) in the three phases of Punjab LG polls 2015 has reached to 882 while the show then followed by independent candidates who succeeded in securing 831 seats. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf at third with 236 seats, Pakistan Peoples Party at fourth with 106 while Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid has secured 31,  and Jamaat e Islami got only 2 seats. (the position of PML Q and JI has not finalised)
