PPSC postpones several written tests due to flood


Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) intended to hold written tests/exams for various posts of Assistant Professor (Male) and (Female), Tehsil / Council Officer, Tehsil / Town Officer (Finance), District Officer Civil Defence, Assistant Superintendent Jail and other posts on 1st August, 2nd August, 8th August, 9th August, 15th & 16th August, 2015 at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, DG Khan and Bahawalpur at the same time. However, this schedule has been changed in the wake of flood that hit most of the parts of Punjab.


The new schedule for the written test/exams will be announced latter, as said by PPSC.

This is advance notice being given so that the candidates who have applied for these posts can carry out necessary preparation for the tests.



The notice is issued due to the situation across the country where flood hits several parts of the country. As a result of heavy rains have been hitting upper as well as lower Punjab for weeks, the schedules for couple of matters have been changed.

In the light of current disturbed situation, the PPSC announced this alteration of the dates for written tests for different posts.
