Former captain of national One-Day side Mohammad Hafeez has been deceived by a property dealer who neither allotted him the plot nor return his money.
According to the national cricketer, the deal between him and the property dealers was done two years ago and an eight Marla plot was due to be allotted to Hafeez. The accused had promised to allot him the plot but they rendered an excuse at the time of allotment.
Mohammand Hafeez had demanded them to either transfer the plot to him or return the money, but all his demands and requests went in vain.
As stated by Muhammad Hafeez, the accused had returned him 1 crore and 25 lacs and handed over him a cheque of 2 crore and 25 lacs which bounced. The cricketer approached SPCIA Muhammad Umar two years after waiting for the return of his payment and appealed him for justice.
The SPCIA immediately directed DSP Cant to arrest the accused and recover the money given by Hafeez.
