Multan also gets affected by child abuse, case filed against eight accused


MULTAN: Five out of eight involved in child abuse that were said to have filmed children to blackmail them have been arrested in Multan.


Police have also carried out raids searching of the remaining convicts. The police said the child abuse scandal emerged week after the disclosure of Kasur child abuse scandal, which said to be the biggest child molesting scandal of Pakistan.

According to a spokesperson to City Police Inspector Rana Zaheerudding Babar, the Mumtazabad police have filed child abuse complaint against eight accused that include Ehtisham Sindhu, Ahmed Baloch, Arbaz, Shan, Jafar Ghouri, Juna, Mohsin and Irfan.


These accused have been sexually abusing a 9th class student and have captured his video to blackmail him and his family to receive more money and the family lodged complaint after failing to fulfil the demands of the perpetrators.

Lodging complaint against the culprits, the father of 9th class student said that his son was kidnapped by his school fellow Muhammad Tayyab and Islam at gunpoint. They shifted his son at an isolated place afterwards and captured the video with the help of other accomplices.

They were blackmailing the family for at three months and have received huge money for not uploading the video on internet.
