MQM consents to reconsider resignations after meeting with govt, says Fazal-ur-rehman

LAHORE: Chief Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam JUI (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has announced here on Monday that MQM had agreed to reconsider its decision to resign from the Parliament after meeting with Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif .

Prime Minister has ensured the delegation of MQM to form a committee to address their grievances.

MQM leader Farooq Sattar, Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar and  Information, Minister Pervez Rashid were also present with Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on this occasion in the press conference.

Fazal-ur-Rehman further said that the delegation had put forward their grievances in the meeting with the government and PM had heard all their reservations and assured them that their reservations will be dealt as soon as early.

“Prime Minister has directed to form a committee in this regard to remove the reservations of MQM”, he added.

Maulana said that MQM delegation appreciated the step of the government and agree to reconsider its decision to resign from the National Assembly, Senate and the Sindh Assembly.
