Karachi: The Pakistan Peoples Party on Wednesday decided to remove senior leader, close friend of Asif Zardari and former home minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza from the party’s central executive committee (CEC).
This decision has been made following Mirza’s outrage and criticism against PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Mirza, along with PPP senior leader Makdhoom Amin Fahim and Qadir Patel, have left for London to meet PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.Mirza had announced that he would brief the chairman of his prty about those PPP leaders who have defamed the party.
Earlier, Bilwal Bhutto Zardari through his twitter account denied any rift on leadership issue of PPP.
The PPP stands united, anyone claiming otherwise and speaking against the leadership is no friend of the party
