Pakistan test-fires Hatf-IV ballistic missile

Rawalpindi: Pakistan experimented a successful test launch of intermediate range Hatf IV (Shaheen I-A) ballistic missile which is capable of carrying nuclear and traditional warheads to a range of 900 kilometres, a statement from the ISPR said.

‘Shaheen I-A’ missile is an advanced version of the ‘Shaheen I’ with a longer range and is estimate to carry 1000 kilograms of explosives.

Prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Presdient Mamnoon Hussain congratulated the scientists , the engineers and the participating troops on their achievement.

Cheif of Naval staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, Director General Strategic Plans Division Lieutenant General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Commander Army Forces Command Lieutenant General Obaid Ullah Khan, senior officers from the strategic and scientists and engineers of strategic organizations witnessed  the successful test.
