Main culprit of Peshawar attack arrested: ISPR


RAWALPINDI: One of the main culprit of the December 16 Peshawar school attack, Taj Muhammad alias Rizwan, was arrested on Monday by security forces in an Intelligence Based Operation (IPO).


According to the ISPR, Taj Muhamad was the commander of one of the two groups that attacked the Army Public School Peshawar on December 16,2014. The attack took the lives of  150 people, including 133 students.


 Taj Muhammad, 27, is a resident of Sippah, Koi Chowk, Bara, Khyber Agency. He was pretending as an Internally displaced person (IDP) ,leaving in the village of Pawakai in Peshawar.

The militant commander admitted he had been working with the TTP since 2008, and had been involved on many other terrorist activities in North Waziristan and around Peshawar.
