The kidnapped son of PPP Central Executive Committee member Syed Akhunzada Chitttan has been recoved today in Bajaur Agency.
The young boy, Hussain Shah, currently in the custody of the political administration was found from Utmankehl area of Bajaur Agency.
Sources from the political administration said, the abductors released the minister’s son in a graveyard along side Bajaur’s main town of Khar. The sources also said that the boy was in a sound state when got recovered.
Assistant political agent Khar told the media that after Shah was kidnapped, security forces carried out a comprehensive search and strike operation in the locality which made the kidnappers leave the boy.
Meanwhile, boy’s family members and officials had earlier told the media that they were waiting outside his residence for their school bus when unidentified veiled men took him away in a vehicle.
According to local denizens, Levies officials, who were assigned the task to provide security to the former MNA’s family, opened firing on the criminals but they escaped quite easily.
