Army Chief offers Eid prayer in Waziristan with troops


KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayer with troops fighting in Waziristan to restore peace in the country.1


To increase the morale of Pak Jawwans, Army Chief has spent last afttar with troops in Waziristan. It is worth to note here that Operation Zarb-e-Azab has been entered into the final phase. Pak Army has controlled immeasurable zones in North and South Waziristan and now Taliban are bound to the little packet in the Pak-Afghan fringe range.2


The Operation Zarb-e-Azb that was launched on June 15, 2014 in North Waziristan to flush out all local and foreign militants hiding in North Waziristan, has been admired at national and international level.
