Peshawar: A 53-year-old government employee (a peon at WAPDA) named Muhammad Shafeeq has been taking matriculation exam in examination hall along with matriculation students in the city on Tuesday.
Muhammad Shafeeq said; that there is no age limit to get an education.
According to Geo News, Muhammad Shafeeq said that due to some reason he is not able to continue his education, he could only complete education till grade 6 when he was young, an addition he says the he has very interest in education. “Now that I am the old man my daughter motivated me to give exams and complete my matriculation,” he said during his interview.
According to Peshawar Board Chairman DR Shafi Afridi as many as 130,000 Matriculation student attempt matriculation exams.
Teacher and invigilators have been asked to make sure that matriculation students do not carry pocket guides. Photo state machines should not operate near exam center.
