Jamhoori Watan Party leader Talal Akbar Bugti passes away


QUETTA: Talal Akbar Bugti – Jamhoori Watan Party leader, son of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, and father of Shah Zain Bugti, Gohram Bugti and Mir Chakar Bugti – has passed away in Quetta after long suffering from asthma.


According to JWP Secretary Information Gul Manak Baloch, he was admitted to CMH Quetta because of breathing problem. In the hospital, he suffered a heart attack, which proved to be fatal. He was 63.


President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain expressed grief over the death of Talal Akbar Bugti. At the time of news, President was addressing to the Foreign Services Academy. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also expressed sorrow over the death of Talal Bugti and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give the courage to the breaved family to bear this loss with fortitude. Both President and PM appreciated the role of Talal Akbar Bugti for welfare and development of his region and enhancement of democracy in the country.

Talal Akbar Bugti was a tribal leader of the Bugti tribe of the Balochistan and President of the JWP. He was the fourth child of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti. He has three sons, Shah Zain Bugti, Gohram Bugti, and Mir Chakar Bugti.
