KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday, (MNA) Rashid Godil got critically injured after unidentified armed man tried to attack him at Bahadurabad area in Karachi.
According to reports, Godil received six bullets during gun attack, he has been shifted to private hospital in surgical ward.
The gun attack carried out by unknown attackers who were on motor-bikes, driver of MQM shot dead during attack.
Hospital spokesperson Dr Anjum Rizvi, while informing to the media says, Godil is severely injured, hospital is trying to treat him.
Before Tendering resignations, Rashid Godil was performing his duty in the assembly as an MQM’s deputy parliamentary leader. In 2013 general elections, Godil claimed NA 252 seat with 90,827.
